You must be thinking about the things to know before buying a device, We have collected them for you in case you are planning to buy Realme 2. The device was launched recently and the first sale will be live tomorrow on Flipkart exclusively. This time, Realme has launched the device with Snapdragon 450. You might think of ‘Oppo‘ before purchasing or not purchasing the device, Just to let you know, Oppo is not anymore connected with Realme. So if you are changing your mind just for ‘Oppo’, then no need to do that Because Realme is now separated from Oppo.
You might think what we are doing right now? We are not giving our review as we have not tested the unit yet. We are just simplifying everything that is present on paper. What we have seen in the official unboxing done by other Media & Our own opinions can tell what exactly you should do. Talking about the Value, You spend at least 8-9K bucks for a device which comes with Snapdragon 450, 720P display. It is still an overpriced device considering the processor only. These were the only Major downside of the device however they won’t affect some people if they are casual users. If you are okay with that & having a low budget for the smartphone, Realme 2 is the best choice for now.
These are our frank opinions that we would like to share with you. The device is not the successor to its previously launched Realme 1. Because of the confusion in naming lineup, People started trolling the device for having downgraded processor in the next generation of the series. Realme cleared, They will launch different devices in a different budget range. This indicates that the company is going to launch their device in every budget, from 5K to 50K or even more(just for example).
Now, If you have got the point, Let me tell you other things before reminding you about the specifications of the device. Realme is not the sub-brand of Oppo anymore. Along with that, Oppo will not be responsible for the after-sale support of the device. That means, Realme will fix your device in any problem. However, They have a service called “Callme“. Yeah, the company will pick up the device from your house and will courier after fixing the problem.
Now, Let’s talk about the specifications of the device (in short), so you get an idea about the device. Realme 2 comes with a 6.20-inch screen with a resolution of 720×1520 pixels. The back of the device is similar to what we have seen in the Realme 1, ‘Diamond Cut’ design. The phone comes with 4,230 mAh battery paired with Snapdragon 450. Realme used micro USB port to charge the device. The device comes in two variants as far as storage is concerned: 3GB RAM/ 32GB Storage and 4GB RAM/64 GB Storage. The storage is expandable up to 256GB with a dedicated microSD slot.
Talking about the cameras, Realme 2 features dual camera at the back which includes 13 MP primary sensor with F/2.2 and a 2 MP secondary sensor with F/2.4. It features an 8 MP sensor on the front with F/2.2 to take those beautiful selfies. Talking about security, The phone features a fingerprint sensor on the back. Additionally, It also has Face Unlock which the company claims to be faster than other devices in the range. The phone comes with Dual VoLTE feature that is something that was missing from previous devices.
If you think, You are okay with a device having Snapdragon 450 and 720P display with which you get 4,230 mAh battery & 12+2MP dual Rear camera, Face Unlock, Dual VoLTE, then you should try this device once. However, If the price would have been slightly lower, then I would have definitely recommended you for that budget.
