The Durability Test
Talking about the Durability test of Poco F1, it is performed by JerryRigEverything & the video is linked below. The test includes the scratching, a little bit burning and the bend test of the Poco F1. In the Start, Jerry tries to scratch the phone with his typical standard test including marks on sheet pasted to the display. We can clearly see scratches on the device at Level 7 while few at Level 6 too. Talking about the front speakers, they are made of metal and passes the scratch test upon them.
Now comes the side of the device, the sides of the device are made out of complete plastic. The device has some layer of paint which makes it look like a metallic build, but It’s a plastic. Overall, on scratching it from sides, the plastic tears off from the device. It is completely fine until and unless It is a good material plastic used on the device. The Sim Card Slot on the device does not have any Water Resistance & It’s also made out of plastic. Talking about the build, Quality of the device is good but You will definitely need some protection with a Back Cover provided in the box itself.
The Rear camera does not have the wide-angle lens or the Telephoto lens. Talking about the fingerprint Scanner, the sensor doesn’t get any scratch during the test. The Flashlight is also made out of plastic but gets it job done pretty well. The back of the device is made of Polycarbonate, basically Plastic at the back too. The device has lower Scratch Resistance than the glass, according to JerryRigEverything. The IPS display on the Poco F1 is now burned slightly and It lasts for about 10 seconds during this test. The device has the speedy recovery from the burned pixels.
During the bend test, JerryRigEverything bent the device from the back as well as from the front. The Surprising thing is, being a Plastic body, The Poco F1 passes the test without having any damage to any part of the device. During the bend test, The Poco F1 comes out to be a little bit flexible, unlike the Redmi Note 5 Pro which was tested by JerryRigEverything too.
The Pocophone F1 passes the durability test having a Plastic body. It is definitely a result of having an awesome build quality. The device already gained popularity because of having Flagship specs at such lower price, Now, It passes the durability test as well. It is surely going to make some new records in the future.
