Oneplus 6 has got the 3,300 mAh battery whereas the New Oneplus 6T comes with 3,700 mAh battery. Both of the devices can be charged through fast charge (5V/4A) dash charger provided in the box. Oneplus 6T comes with Android 9 out of the box whereas Oneplus 6 has also got the Android 9 Stable OIS update now.

Both devices are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 paired with Adreno’s 630 GPU. The RAM Storage are same on both of the devices; 6GB & 8GB. However, Oneplus 6T’s base model starts from 128GB storage compared to the Oneplus 6’s 64GB storage base variant.

Should You Upgrade?

So, You have already seen that there are not major upgrades from the Oneplus 6, the question arrives here. Should you upgrade from Oneplus 6 for the latest Oneplus 6T? Well, If you are having a lot of pocket money, You should. But, It is definitely not worth upgrading from Oneplus 6. If you are having Oneplus 5 or earlier devices, You can upgrade for the Oneplus 6T. However, Company has already announced the launch of the 5G smartphone in 2019!
